Our subject is a fascinating one, involving as
it does the influence of the Solar Angel/Angel of the Presence, which are
generically characterized by the fifth and second rays. Venus, the sacred
planet with a fifth ray soul, is vitally important in determining the influence
of the Angel in our astrological chart and during any particular incarnation.
We will be studying Venus intensively as well as certain other planets like
Mercury and Uranus which have strong fifth ray characteristics. Since the fifth
ray is intimately involved in the whole process of initiation, we can readily
recognize its importance.
ADVANCING SEVEN RAY SEMINAR (time varies)
25 April – 27 April
Most of the ray investigations undertaken by
students focus upon the Ray of the Soul and the various Rays of the
Personality. This is as it should be; first things first. But in order to grasp
a more synthetic vision of our rays, the estimation cannot stop with the soul
ray. The ninefold choice of rays for the spiritual triad and what I hypothesize
as the dual monadic rays are extremely significant in the overall view, though
it may take a number of incarnations to access them more completely.

Every USR/SRI/Morya Federation Conference has a
focus on a particular Ray–one of the Seven Rays which control so much within
our solar system and local cosmos. This year our focus is upon the Fifth Ray of
Science and Knowledge, represented on our planet by the most luminous of all
the Ray Lords Who is given some of the most beautiful of all Names of all the
Ray Lords. The association of this Ray Lord with the Earth’s Alter-Ego, Venus
(the Planet of Love and Beauty),is clear and deeply significant.
